We are excited to announce that we are adding Shannon Burns and Kelli Parcher as official We Teach Peace program trainers. These two excellent and well rounded trainers will help us meet the demands of agencies seeking training for their staff in the PEACE program. They offer a wide range of experience in multiple settings, including: schools, residential/community mental health centers, and Juvenile Justice facilities. They join us in providing training for your staff in the facilitation of Empathy, Anger Management, Social Skills, and Character Education to youth. Kelli and Shannon also have an extensive background in assisting agencies in implementation and quality assurance.

Shannon Burns is a Washington State Consultant and Master Trainer in WSART and has done this for over 10 years. She stays active in facilitating groups of youth who are Juvenile Justice referred. She is responsible for five counties in the State of Washington to ensure training, consultation, and yearly certification in WSART. Along with this she is a Probation Manager, PREPSEC Member/Advisor, Case Management/Motivational Interviewing trainer, and most importantly, a parent.
Kelli Parcher has 14 Years WSART Trainer, Master Trainer, 16 Years as a Washington State Detention Manager and has been a Peace4kids Facilitator and PREPSEC Board Member. She has a great deal of experience in group facilitation with the highest risk youth as well as those in a school setting. She is active in the Truancy Board development and alternatives to detention. She is known in her local community as an advocate for youth programs and a parent of two.
Both Kelli and Shannon believe in matching their training to the needs of the agency and ultimately to the clients they served. This allows for the highest success in implementing and sustaining the PEACE program. They feel their current group facilitation of youth sets them apart from many trainers, they have a close connection to the program and youth.
